Record on Firestick with Inbuilt Recording Feature. Fire TV Stick also offers an inbuilt recording feature, and provides 8GB storage where you can save your media files, including your recorded shows.

Haven't bothered trying it out as so far not needed to.

That’s why we have kept Sky Q going at £21.00 per month so that we can record on there if need be…

You can't as far as I know... they occasionally do reruns of fights, football games etc but I have not seen a record facility

For those that have a fire stick how do you record programs and how many programs can you record at the same time?

my one has an admin chat on discord - any issues (rare) sorted sharpish 99% of the time. best thing i ever did. i'm not particularly tech savvie so some of my issues are quite basic, which they give resolution on sharpish. there's also a backup server.

"exactly the same - crazy not to do this. fuck the woke cunts financially, also."

Personally, I think it's crazy to pay a subscription for a perfectly good streaming service and also pay Sky £21 a month for the same stuff.

... keeping the peace with the missus mate. doesn't want to lose the sky planner. so i just cut the bill as much as i possibly could and kept broadband.

cjpl203,

Nah, it's set up correctly. Not sure what the problem was. I watched the 2nd half of another game on Amazon just afterwards and the picture was fine. Might have been my broadband playing up.

Phone them up tell them how much you can afford then negotiate !
I used to get a half price deal every year but now days I just love my Firestick/Kodi with a VPN that Alan & Duke on here suggested.
I have at least 3 choices to watch any premiere league game via the Firestick.

You haven't got amazon set up correctly then.
After you start a movie, match, etc click on 'Options' 'video quality' set to best.

Cough... I dunno?? You happy with it??

SO... I use mine in the kitchen/Conservatory... it's the least used device out of the 4 but it still does load up and work.

Like you I always had a good deal on my tv and never minded the £67 a month or whatever as I can afford it and ultimately what do you go to work for, it’s to pay for the comforts.

My bro In law and father law got the sticks and we’re on at me to try them, so gave them a go when contract ended.

Honestly for sport it’s decent but definitely get some buffering and it’s often on a time lag. Movies work well but entertainment and terrestrial is shit.

Also the UI is not as easy for the wife and kids.

I do think about going back to sky because I prefer to do things properly but actually it’s not that bad.

I get prime with my health insurance, I pay for Netflix and the kids watch YouTube. It’s enough really.

With the BT deal I’ve just done for entertainment, Now TV and Netflix for £6 a month, that will mean easier for the family to use and I got the Firestick for Sport and Movies.

My honest advice is if that extra £500-£600 a year don’t matter that much then stay with it, it is better having a proper tv service.
